What is:- Propylene Glycol (PG) Vegetable Glycerin (VG)
I'm not a chemist............. but
E-liquid has 3 ingredients
- Propylene Glycol (PG)
- Vegetable Glycerin (VG)
- Flavors
(PG) Propylene Glycol is a synthetic liquid substance which is generally recognised as safe in the food industry. It is an ingredient used in fog/smoke machines and can be found in asthma inhalers, medicines (topical/oral), pet food even in some make up/beauty products . PG is thicker than VG and will give you a throat hit that new ex smokers like. It also holds flavor better compared to VG.
(VG) Vegetable Glycerin
Vegetable glycerine is produced from plant oils. It a clear liquid with no odour. You can find VG in soaps, shampoos, toothpaste etc. It has a sweet taste to it with a thicker consistency than PG. The vapor from VG is smoother with a thicker plume. You will find that it will mute your flavors a little compared to VG but with a mixture of both you can have the best of both worlds with the right ratio to suit your needs.
When I started vaping I was after the throat hit but as time went on I found I was a bit of a cloud chaser.
