A coil builders must have, these Alien Makers are lightweight 3D printed friction-less multi core stabilising guides that slide along the wire freely and will keep your cores flat to create that perfect Alien Coil you are after
Can be used to make Alien coils, multi-core fused, staple and anything else where you need to keep your core wire flat.

How to:
Tip.1 Keep the lead just forward of 90 degrees the further forward you have it the greater the spacing
Tip. 2 When you make the initial clapton wind the drill in one direction (I use anti clockwise)
Tip. 3 When you wrap the de-core go into an opposite direction (clockwise)
Tip. 4 Depending on how much you have stretched the de-core changes how tight you hold it for finally wrapping. I've personally had better results very slightly under stretching so I'm letting the de-core wrap it self as it goes
Tip. 5 Keep the angle consistent as you go...when you stop and start to move the slider along maintain angle and tension.
Tip. 6 Hold the de-core a good few inches away When wrapping I tend to it just above my lap this allows it to fall into place with equal tension
